Saturated with our proprietary 316L stainless steel micro-flake, STEEL-IT® heavy-duty architectural coatings block corrosion and wear, protecting against moisture, salt, chemicals, and other destructive factors. Once dry and cured, STEEL-IT is up to 50% pure stainless steel with various resins making up the balance of the content depending on the particular coating selected. Easy-to-apply and easy-to-touchup, STEEL-IT coatings can provide 5 to 20+ years of lasting protection depending on where it’s used.

The coating provides the added benefit of being weldable, UV-resistant, and USDA compliant for incidental food contact. STEEL-IT Polyurethane withstands high-pressure washdowns and detergents without chipping or flaking, a critical feature in so many applications across industries.

As with all STEEL-IT Brand Coatings, STEEL-IT 4907 Epoxy Topcoat features custom-engineered, 316L stainless steel flake and provides extraordinary protection against corrosion, abrasion, salt, alkalis and other chemicals. More durable and chemical-resistant than STEEL-IT Polyurethane Topcoats, STEEL-IT 4907 is a 2-component coating – simply mix Components A and B in a 1-to-1 ratio to produce a coating ready for application. USDA compliant for incidental food contact, STEEL-IT 4907 withstands high-pressure washdowns and detergents without chipping or flaking, a critical feature in so many applications across industries.

We love the product because it gives you the flexibility to put the building together, weld, and then go back through and paint everything.
